About Author:
Sofia Sanchez de Betak is a Buenos Aires–born, New York–based creative director, travel and fashion consultant. She began her career as a graphic designer in Argentina focusing on travel publications before moving to New York City and landing a job at prestigious agency Lloyd & Co. as an art director for fashion and beauty brands. After being spotted working at fashion shoots and shows, Sofia quickly became a style influencer, shooting campaigns and advertorials for top brands including Barneys, Chloe, and Chanel and featured in magazines such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, W, Glamour, Vanity Fair, and Conde Nast Traveler. Her online shop, www.chufy.world, features travel-inspired collections that she designs with artists and artisans from around the world. Sofia has been named among the ten most influential women of Argentina and has graced the covers of La Nacion magazine and Harper’s Bazaar. She contributes to publications including Conde Nast Traveler, Vogue, La Nacion, and Nowness. She recently partnered with Globe-Trotter and designed a limited-edition suitcase collection, inspired by a recent trip to Greece.
